Oh, how Mother loves Halloween! Children going about, just begging to be fed sweets. Mother loves feeding the children. Mother has been working on a new recipe, Pumpkin Love Pie version 1.6. The crust is too thin though, Mother will have to fix that. Perhap Mother's children will appreciate her efforts. Mother's going to go make Pumpkin Love Pie version 2.0, now. Toodle-oo!

Mother is upset. Have children finally learned not to talk to strangers? Not one will eat her pie. Mother has been teaching children for ages about safety and how to avoid naughty playmates, and now that Mother's efforts are seeing result, it's been turned against her. Maybe there has been a flare of "Snow White" readings in public libraries. Maybe children no longer eat pie... nonsense. Mother will continue her efforts... and maybe rework her pie enchantment to include brownies. Children still like brownies, right?

Mother says that her children were silly gooses to think freezing Mother would make her stop loving them. Mother will always love you. Pie is better than ice, dears, don't go thinking otherwise. Has beastie-boo been brushing his itty bitty teethies? Jinxie needs to drink more milk, growing bones need the calcium. Are all of Mother's children happy and healthy? Mother fears not, children need their mother.(Ambles off in search of her children)
